Hotel Review: Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa

Situated on prime beachfront in Seminyak, Bali and lined with coconut palms is Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa. This resort is all about location, location, location.

The direct beach access means guests can not only enjoy the resort facilities, but can dive into Balinese culture and unique island discoveries straight from the resort to one of Bali’s most sought after stretch of shoreline.

1146260_560591170678002_659368105_oThe distinctive contemporary design is elegant yet blended with Balinese culture.  Making the most of the location, the all-suite rooms offer ocean views and expansive balconies that beckon the sea breezes and are the perfect place to toast the world famous Seminyak sunsets. In total there are 59 suites consisting of the Anantara Suite, Anantara Pool Access Suite and the Anantara Ocean Suite, all offering modern comforts and panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.  The rooms channel the spirit of Indonesia with a combination of local wood and elegant glasswork design.  Every suite comes equipped with a Jacuzzi terrazzo tub big enough for two, satellite TV, broadband internet and outdoor daybeds on the balcony.

For the ultimate in elegance and luxury there is the Penthouse which makes no compromises. The private pool boasts a 270 degree panoramic view across the island and out to sea while the oversized Serta beds in the two bedroom suites ensure a peaceful night rest.  Guests will enjoy their very own personal butler ready to serve every need.  The Penthouse also includes en-suite bathrooms fitted with rain showers, terrazzo tubs for two with ocean views, a private library, 120 square metre outdoor lounge, barbeque facilities and hydro tub and it’s very own kitchen.

The resort has a stunning rooftop lounge SOS Supper Club which serves up a mean cocktail and some of the tastiest al fresco international cuisine.  It is at rooftop level you also find the Anantara Spa, tranquil and inviting with treatments to sooth the mind and body. Downstairs is the infinity edge swimming pool staring out upon the Indian Ocean. The deck at the pool is where guests can enjoy breakfast, dinner and a light meal.

In addition to the location and contemporary but cultural 1375787_560586980678421_1524312169_ndesign of Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa is the professional yet friendly service from the staff. The attention to detail with every guest makes you feel like you are a VIP guest.  Nothing is too difficult to achieve according to the staff at Anantara Seminyak Resort & Spa as they make you feel you are the only guest there.

KarryOn recommends to book an Ocean View Suite on level two or higher. There can be a bit of noise that comes from the pool area if you are on level one and have your doors open.  Definitely try breakfast on the deck in the morning and make your way to the rooftop for a sundowner as the view is spectacular.
